Water Weight Calculation

Water Wt (kg) = Net Volume (L)

Pure freshwater has a density of exactly 1.0 kg/L. For US measurements, multiply the net volume in gallons by 8.34 to calculate the water weight in pounds: Water Wt (lbs) = Volume (gal) * 8.34.

Glass Panels Weight

Glass Wt = Area (m²) * Thickness (mm) * 2.5

Standard float glass has a density of 2.5 g/cm³ (156 lbs/ft³). To find the glass weight, calculate the surface area of the five panels (bottom, front, back, two sides), multiply by thickness, and scale by density.
